Food as Art
Did you ever make mashed potato sculptures or strategically bite your pb & j sandwiches into santa's sleigh? Some people take it a little further. Check out these awesome slide shows and videos.

The Exorcist - March 20
As part of the Horror / Sci-Fi film series at the Wendell Library, this month we will watch The Exorcist, a Horror movie from the 1970s. From IMDB, "When a teenager is possessed by a mysterious entity, her mother seeks the help of two priests to save her daughter."

Vote for your favorite YouTube videos and web sites
Today is the beginning of Teen Tech Week, sponsored by the American Library Association. There will be a few challenges to try out in the library and a few challenges to work out on your own. In this space I will post links to teen nominations for best YouTube video and best web site. Tell Jordan your nominations or post them in the comments of this post and Jordan will update the links. Horror/Science Fiction Movie Series at the Library
Each month on the Saturday nearest the new moon the Wendell Library hosts a horror/science fiction movie series. Past showings have included 28 Days Later, The Andromeda Strain, and Lifepod. Organizers are open to suggestions. For R rated movies bring a note from a guardian giving you permission to watch if you are under 17. Robbie Heller, one of the organizers, is open to suggestions.
